Boxing Gloves
Whether you are training for a fight, boxing for fitness, hitting a heavy bag, speed bag, or punching ball, choosing the right boxing gloves is essential.
If you are hitting a speed bag or double ended punching ball, choose gloves specific to this task. Search for "speed bag gloves". A lighter glove will probably be best for this purpose, as a heavy glove will probably be too bulky. If you are training for strength or hitting a heavy bag, you may want to go with a heavier glove. Look for a glove with extra padding. Also be sure to purchase hand wraps to protect your knuckles and fingers. Your hands are the most important aspect to boxing, so if you damage them, you aren't going to get very far in the sport. And finally, if you are going to get into the ring and box, you should look for a lighter type of glove. Be sure to purchase a good quality glove, that will withstand a constant beating.
